Visa Approved Plane Ticket Confirmed

My visa was finally approved for Papua new guinea, and I booked my plane ticket!!! The ticket worked out to $3004 dollars, and I still have to book a ticket from Toronto to Los Angeles, so it is very expensive, but everything has gone very smoothly.

Right now I am packing up my gear and getting ready before I leave. Travel the Road has generously donated some exificio clothing for me, with built in mosquito repellent, so I am very blessed and can't wait to try it out.

My ticket for new guinea leaves on October 1st, and I will arrive at my final destination in Lae around October 3rd. It is going to be a grueling 20+ hour plane ride, so let me know if you have any ideas on how I can pass the time.

Currently I am staying at my brother's house here in Canada spending time with my amazing nieces Rachel and Alora. We are having so much fun, and every day I have been taking pictures with them and playing at the park, and in the backyard. This will be the last time I am with my family before I leave, so I am really enjoying myself.

Here are a few photos of my lovely nieces I took yesterday:

There are a few things I really need to get done before I leave, one of them is some Gortex Shoes for hiking, and I am putting together an email list to let people know when I update my blog so they can see what is going on in my life. So please email me your contact information if you want to be on my email list, so you know when I have posted an update on my blog.

I need your first and last name, and your email address and your mailing address.

Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare for this trip, and that everything will go smoothly with my tickets and visa.

Papua New Guinea is a beautiful country, I spent six months there in 2003. I travelled to Lae as well. What areas of PNG will you be visiting?

Ummm...so you need to update your blog so we know how you are doing!
Thinking of you. You are gone but not forgotten.
Today, Rachel said "After I turn 4Uncle Jeremy will come see me." Don't disappoint her Jeremy, come home safely when you have completed your mission.
